Day 1
Early departure from your hotel (depending on the resort's location - between 3:00 and 4:00 AM).
The tour begins at Ravana Falls, where you will learn why it has this name and what legends and mysteries its roaring waters hold.
Upon arrival in Ella, we will visit the unique Nine Arch Bridge, built in the early 20th century by the British without the use of any metal structures.
Next, we will climb Little Adam's Peak, which offers stunning views of mountain ranges, tea plantations, and Ella Rock.
Afterwards, we will transfer to the highland town of Haputale for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 2
An early rise (4:00 AM) to reach the Lipton's Seat viewpoint before sunrise and witness an unforgettable dawn amidst the tea plantations of the famous "tea bag knight."
Next, we board the train and travel along the highland railway to Nanu Oya station, near Nuwara Eliya – a "Little England" in the heart of the tropical island.
Here, we will see the central post office built by the British over a century ago, the former mansion of the island's governor, and you will see another of the island's most beautiful waterfalls – St. Clair.
To conclude the second day of the tour, we will visit a small museum of the famous Mlesna tea house, where you will see the technological equipment used in the 19th century for tea production. There, over a cup of Ceylon tea, we will share our impressions of everything we've seen over these two days.
Stops for photography and meals are scheduled throughout the route.
The order of sightseeing may be adjusted at the guide's discretion.
